Our Story

Meet Doug McDonald

In 2017, due to road construction, a detour took us down 31 through Petoskey.  We looked at each other and said - why don't we live here?  We started talking about different options and how we could move our family and employment up north.  Doug's brother Matt (Five Star Golf Cars) jumped in with "Doug, you should open a golf car dealership."  The more we talked about it the more it seemed like a viable option for us.  Next step:  find a location, and that we did. 

We opened our doors in the spring of 2018 and what a journey it has been so far!  We have gone from 13 Used Golf Cars to over 75 New, Used, and Customized golf cars.

In 2025 we moved from Petoskey to Boyne City and we continue to provide new, used, and customized golf cars; service (for golf cars newer than 2010); and golf car winter storage.
